Please avoid traveling in the summer season from June to September because these times are the hottest times in Cairo, and you may not wish to travel or may get sunburned, and heat waves may give you a stroke.

You must Avoid traveling during the Ramadan festival because Cairo is predominantly an Islamic place. Local shops and restaurants reduce their working hours, are open frequently for a shorter time, and may close soon, which does not make it a good time to visit.

Feteer: It is like you are eating an Egyptian pizza or cushioned pies that are layered with dough and ghee with various optional fillings. You can find many flavors of Feteer depending on its fillings, such as cheese, coconut, Nutella, sausage, ground beef, and more.

  • Pyramids: These require no introduction; they are the main attractions of tourism in Cairo, including the world-famous Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx. 

  • The Egyptian Museum: The oldest archaeological museum you can see in the Middle East, houses over 170,000 artifacts from the Predynastic. Visitors can also see the world-famous treasures of Tutankhamun. 

  • Al Azhar Mosque: This site is one of the hotspots in Cairo, where you will be immersed in the rich history and architectural masterpiece. Being one of the oldest, this mosque was built by Fatimid Caliph Sultan al-Muizz li Din Allah. Standing as 1000 years old, you can find knowledge, peace, and spirituality.
